Preventative medicine and annual health visits are vital in ensuring your pet remains healthy in the puppy stages, through adulthood and into the senior years. Keeping your pet current on vaccines, getting bloodwork done at different life stages and incorporating preventive medicine into your monthly routine, including heartworm, flea and tick preventatives, can prevent major pet illnesses and extend the life of your pet. Our educational coordinater has created kits and handouts custom made to help clients stay informed and make sound decisions on the veterinary care options you choose for your pet.
Our doctors are highly skilled in routine and more advanced surgical procedures including spay, neuter, mass removal, dentistry including tooth extraction, cystotomy, gastropexy, splenectomy, amputation and so much more. Surgical exams are provided for all pets prior to the scheduled surgical appointment. At that time, we create a customized surgical plan for your pet. We offer comprehensive bloodwork, radiographs, microchipping, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning at the time of surgery. Each pet has their own veterinary technicians during the surgery to carefully evaluate and monitor the patient using state-of-the-art monitoring equipment throughout the entire procedure.
If your pet needs emergency care, we are available during regular business hours to treat a wide variety of emergency pet illnesses and injuries. Pets with emergency medical needs will be seen as quickly as possible. If your pet needs a higher level of care, we will refer you to a local specialist if warranted. If your pet is currently experiencing a medical emergency, call right away to speak to one of our customer service representatives. They will help guide you to the appropriate course of action based on your current emergency. Below is a list of our office hours.
